SE - 2025 Community Garage Sale - Vendor Registration

The City of Lathrop Garage Sale returns!. Clean out your garages, attics, storage units or closets while providing the opportunity to get to know your community. Your trinkets could go to a new home for someone to enjoy.

Prohibited items to sell include; alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, drug paraphernalia, firearms, fireworks, food products, handmade crafts, wholesale products, products from independent distributors and other products that are deemed inappropriate by the City of Lathrop Staff.

The City of Lathrop will assign all sellers booth spaces. Booth Space dimentions18' x 18’. Booth spaces are parking spaces and are not square. Some may be located on slightly uneven ground. Expect deviations in booth sizes and shape. The City of Lathrop Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to move booth spaces in order to ensure safety for event sellers and guests. Vendors must supply their own tables and chairs. Power is not available.

Seller Forms are accepted until Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. or until all spaces are full.

Payment must be submitted in full with the Sellers Form at the time of registration. Event will take place rain or shine and no refunds will be given.

The City of Lathrop will assign all sellers booth spaces. Booth spaces are approximately 18’ x 18’. Booth spaces are parking lot spaces and are not square. Some may be located on slightly uneven ground. Expect deviations in booth sizes and shape. The City of Lathrop Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to move booth spaces in order to insure safety for event sellers and guests. Vendors must supply their own tables and chairs. Canopies may be used, but must stay within the sellers booth space. Electricity and water are not provided. No generators of any kind (Gas or Electric) or amplified sound of any kind will be allowed.

The City of Lathrop reserves the right to deny acceptance into the event, refuse set-up and/or sale of items based on the event intent and appropriateness. This is not a craft fair or event for commercial vendors. Items sold should be of a “garage sale” nature only. Any craft or commercial vendors will be asked to leave without a refund. No food, drinks, weapons, alcohol, drugs, drug/sexual paraphernalia, light-up toys or objects, or fireworks may not be sold at the event. Political campaigning will not be allowed.

All items must be placed inside designated sellers booth spaces. Items may not be placed in other vendor’s spaces or in designated walkways, sidewalks, planters, or grass/dirt.

Staff can be identified by their designated staff shirts. Please do not hesitate to ask questions. Staff are there to make the day go as smoothly as possible; however, they are not able to assist in unloading, set-up, or clean-up of sellers booth spaces.

Check-in at the City of Lathrop tent to be directed to your assigned space. Set-up is from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. Sellers will only be able to unload from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. No prior set-up is allowed. All vehicles must be removed from the area by 7:30 a.m. (No Exceptions) Please park on 5th Street or on neighboring streets (NOT in front of the park or inside the parking lot). This allows plenty of parking for buyers.

The garage sale is open to shoppers at 8:00am. Please understand that at any garage sale, early shoppers do come.

All vendors must begin cleaning up at 12:00 p.m. and will have their space completely clear by 1:00 p.m. No vehicles will be allowed within the event area until staff gives the all clear. Vendors are responsible for the removal of all trash and unsold items. If there are items left in sellers booth space, you will be billed a removal fee of $50 per half hour, and may jeopardize participation in future events. Sellers must check out with staff prior to leaving.

The City of Lathrop is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items; sale of items; handling of monies/making change; or personal liability during the event.

While advertisement will be done to promote this event in our Activity Guide; email blast; Social Media and Manteca Bulletin, we do not guarantee that profits will be generated from this event. No refunds will be issued for lack of generated profits or low attendance.

Refunds will only be issued if a request is made in writing at least ten (10) business days prior to the event. Refunds take approximately six to eight weeks to process and will be mailed to the provided address.

Community Hospice/The Hope Chest Thrift Store will be out at the end of the event with a donation truck. They will be accepting items you don’t wish to take back home. The following is a list of items they do not accept:
