YL - Fundamentals of Robotics & Electronics (Fall) P.1

This is Part 1 of a 3-part course series. This class is a prerequisite and must be completed before registering for Part 2 of the course series.

Month 1 – Basics & Introduction to Electronics
In this course, students will start their journey by learning basic wiring, circuits, and electricity. Students will be introduced to microcontrollers, block-based programming, and fundamental electronic components. Using the DVR method (Draw ? Virtual ? Real), they learn how to design and build simple circuits using LEDs, resistors, and push buttons.

Students will progress to block-based programming and then to C++ coding. They will explore sensor integration, microcontroller programming, and use the conditional logic (if-else statements) to control components like servo motors and sensors. Through engaging, hands-on activities, students will develop a strong understanding of electronics, robotics, and data flow in order to build their final project - a Smart Trash Can!

All courses taught by Mech Finix Labs instructors.
