Programs

Participants will explore storytelling by blending fiction with real-life experiences inspired by their cultural heritage or family traditions. They'll learn essential writing techniques such as narrative structure, character development, and descriptive language, as well as how to incorporate digital elements like images, sounds, and videos. The course guides them through building engaging plots, vivid settings, and using multiple writing techniques to enhance their story. Participants will revise, edit, and self-publish a personalized digital storybook

Participants must be registered for class before they may attend. Participants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult at drop off to ensure registration is complete and that an instructor is on-site. Parents/Guardians must be available via phone and arrive for pick up by the end of class. Please drop off and pick up your child inside of the Generations Center building.
